The first is stamped "T. J. SUTTLE" (of Perryopolis, PA), circa 1865, a jar with tooled collar, extruded lug handles, meandering cobalt flower decoration, stamped "3" (13 in.). The second is a stamped "J.H. DIPPLE LEWISTOWN PA" with single brushed cobalt flower enclosing a stamped "3" (10 in.).

Suttle: Scrapes to rim; separation to the clay at the underside; discoloration especially to one handle. Dipple: short interior rim hairline.
