Wallace Nutting was a furniture designer who reproduced pieces in the style of the 18th century. He was born in Massachusetts in 1861 and harbored a lifelong interest in American antiques. He opened a furniture factory that produced thousands of designs and produced over 10,000 different photographs throughout his career.
With toning to the sheets and backings, the largest with damp staining to the lower and left edge of the backing and spotting, not examined outside the frames.
