England, second half 19th century, each seated nude upon a rockwork base, the first of a nude mending nets, impressed '145' to the socle (11 1/2 in.); the second likely depicting the Greco-Roman muse Corinna seated holding scroll with lyre and theatrical mask nearby, unmarked (13 in.); the third of a bather, unmarked (9 3/4 in.).
Private Collection, Rocky Mount, North Carolina A few scattered firing hairlines and some surface marks; Corinna with loss to right foot, chipping to scroll and one leaf on crown, and rubbing to ebonized and gilt base.
