Circa 1780, poplar secondary, rectangular top with applied molded edge, fish tail hinges, interior till with secret slide revealing two secret small drawers, dovetailed case, applied molding above three side-by-side lipped drawers, distinctive acorn motif center drop, original bold bracket foot base with double stepped cut bracket feet.

Top with staining, scratches and wear; half inch spline running full length at front edge of lid; missing clasp; later pulls; separation to board seams at sides of case.
