Circa 1800, yellow pine secondary, rectangular top with bread board ends and applied molding to underside, but hinges, interior with till to the left side, dovetailed case, applied waist molding, two side-by-side lipped drawers, scalloped skirt, original distinctive shaped bracket feet applied to the solid.

Together with letter stating the provenance detailing the line of ownership from the Carter family, Chestnut Hill home, King George County, Virginia.

Note the construction using Germanic pinning to lower case sides and box drawer construction with rear board.

Top with separation at two board joint, dark staining and wear; moth ball odor present; missing lock; left drawer with several areas of lip loss and missing lock.
