Second quarter 20th century, the first standing model of trophy horse with head canted, main and tail styled, and saddle cloth to the base the corner monogrammed in the casting, the base side signed and dated "Gurdon 1946", the obverse engraved Rolls Royce/SOCIAL SE-A 1935/ "SHORTY" / Mary Donna (8 1/2 x 9 1/4 x 3 1/2 in.); the second a group of two horses at play after Barye, inscribed to the terrace edge.
