Meiji period (1868-1912), each porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue with overglaze iron red, and gilt enamels; the larger pair a faceted hexagonal form with alternating foliate registers and a flared rim; the smaller pair a bottle form with similar alternating registers, presented together with wood bases; all without marks.


The larger pair 7 1/4 in.
