Meiji period (1868-1912), underglaze blue and iron red porcelain decorated with overglaze red, turquoise, purple, green, and gilt enamels, featuring registers on each side depicting a bird on a branch against a background of foliate decoration and patterning, the trumpeting neck with foliate double handles, and landscape scenes, presented together with a carved ebonized base.
