Late 18th century, watercolor on ivory, unsigned, each delicately rendered bewigged and attired in coat and waistcoat, with ruffled chemise and white cravat, the first looking direct with blue eyes and blue coat, presented in a period 9K gold brooch (XRF tested); the second looking dexter, with blue eyes and light gray coat, presented behind glass in a period gilt pendant case.
