English School (early 19th century), Two Portrait Miniatures in Fancy Pendant Cases

Watercolor on ivory, unsigned, both sitters similarly attired in blue coat, white waistcoat, with tied cravat, depicted against sky ground, and presented behind glass in period gilt pendant cases with beaded bail, the versos decorated with a plumed hair reserve, foiled opalescent and cobalt glass, half pearls, and gold wire, the larger with sitter's initials near center.
