Possibly Virginia, circa 1800, yellow pine secondary, one part form, the unusual form featuring an upper blanket chest having a hinged lid, applied molding on underside, fishtail hinges, open interior, dovetailed case, the upper chest supported by a two over two chest of lipped drawers, original bold dovetailed bracket foot base.
