Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 18th or 19th century, wood with red, blue and black pigments, a carved statue of Guanyin seated in
dhyanasana with her hands placed in lap in
dhyanamudra, she is dressed in a flowing robe that cascades in a waterfall pattern, she wears a tall crown with a seated Buddha featured in the center, on the reverse is an arched hole perhaps to hold a religious votive, below on base are two rounded holes for hand holding the statue.
