19th century, the first is jug with tooling to the rim, neck, and shoulder, not signed (base rim roughness; gouge to the body; scratches) (11 in.), and the second is likely made in Virginia, a pitcher with brushed cobalt floral decoration including a chain below the rim and downward facing tulips (10 1/2 in.) (spout chip; hairlines to handle; hairlines on the neck and hairlines on the body which extend to the underside) not signed.
