Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 18th century, ink and colors on silk, the figures painted with extraordinary skill and fantastic details, the man and woman are dressed in very fine winter court attire and seated on carved lacquer chairs covered with a tiger skin, a knotted rug in geometric pattern below, elegant side tables sit behind them with special objects denoting their wealth and class, framed in identical manner under glass.
