William B. Cordell was active in Charles Town, Virginia (now Charleston, West Virginia) from 1806 to 1810; in Leesburg, Virginia circa 1812; and in Warrenton, Virginia from 1814 to 1835. He was in a partnership with Thomas Franklin in 1822.
