English, circa 1810, a bowl and platter set, likely made by Ralph Hall, molded with stylized acanthus handles, blue borders, not signed. The third is a small platter with basketweave design surrounding a blue edge central plaque, stamped "TURNER 5" ( 9 1/4 in.).
Bowl 3 1/2 x 11 3/4 in.; tray 12 in.
The Estate of the late Dr. Larry Southworth, Fredericksburg, Virginia The Turner factory made stoneware and creamware of the highest quality from the 4th quarter of the 18th century until 1829.
The bowl has several hairlines; the platter is in good antique condition.
