Circa 1864, pine, deal and mixed woods with red and green wash, the first a mule chest with two upper shaped drawers, hinged top with open interior with repeating decoration, paneled and decorated sides, front scrolled feet, rear turned feet (5 x 7 x 4 in.); the second a blanket chest with canvas hinged lid, open interior, flush case, shaped bracket foot base (3.5 x 6.5 x 3.25 in.).
