Horse Creek Valley, circa 1850, approximately one gallon, having a runny olive alkaline glaze with extensive dark drips over light tan clay, the pitcher is decorated with an incised line at mid-section and partially visible lines below the rim. A sturdy strap handle is applied from the throat to the upper shoulder, the pitcher is raised on a short partially unglazed foot, not signed.
