Possibly Delaware River Valley region, circa 1760, poplar and spruce secondary, two part form, the dovetailed upper case with applied cove molding, two over four graduated lipped drawers with three-quarter dust shelves, the base with applied waist molding above a large deep drawer, scalloped skirts, raised on four cabriole legs with trifid foot.

Solid drawer fronts with nice burl figuring; a good early example with original legs, feet and skirt.

Overall sun fading; upper right side cornice with crack; later pulls in the original holes; some drawer runners rebuilt; lower right stile to upper case detached but present; some white chalk marks to secondary woods.
