Guy Charon was a French painter and lithographer renowned for his vibrant landscape paintings that blend elements of Fauvism and Modernism. Born on February 4, 1927, in Écueillé, France, Charon moved to Paris in 1951, where he began exhibiting at prominent salons, including the Salon de la Nationale des Beaux-Arts and the Salon des Indépendants.
Charon's work is characterized by bold colors and dynamic compositions, often depicting serene village scenes and natural landscapes. His art is held in numerous private and public collections worldwide, including the Musée de Saint-Cyrien, the Musée du Petit Palais in Paris, and the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
