Davidson County, attributed to the shop of Mordecai Collins, circa 1815, poplar secondary, one part form, the diminutive form featuring a broken arched pediment with applied molded cove molding terminating with carved applied rosettes, carved plinth, turned finial, the large upper single hinged Palladian door with molded mullions, shelved interior with plate grove, the door with applied upper conforming molded surround and reeded stiles with stepped plinth, applied waist molding, two lower hinged paneled cabinet doors, shelved interior, reeded stiles with stepped plinth, canted corners, straight feet from the stile, applied stepped foot facing with spur.

A good diminutive example with original pediment and feet facings.
Attributable features to the Collins/Swisegood shop include the finely carved and applied rosettes to the pediment flanking the carved central plinth keystone; the arched door and conforming surround with curved upper mullions; and the reeded columnar stiles with carved capitals.

Missing two finials; windows reglazed (but retaining old wavy glass); shrinkage separation to upper frieze to both sides; all over alligatored surface; replaced rear center foot.
