American Classical Carved Mahogany Sofa

Mid-Atlantic region, circa 1825, mahogany veneers, scrolled crest rail with vertical book-matched veneer panel, boldly scrolled arms, the front with carved stylized reeding, striped floral upholstery with brass tack trim, four pillows, convex book-matched seat rail, raised on down-swept mahogany legs with brass capped feet on casters.
