Attributed to Virginia, early 19th century, mahogany veneers, yellow pine secondary, the top and sideboard are associated, the rectangular case with an applied vertical convex banded edge, central projecting bow-front drawer flanked by two small drawers, all with cock bead, above four hinged cabinet doors all with banded veneer edge, shelved interior, the left cabinet with lower divided drawer, four reeded stiles, paneled sides, raised on six turned legs, the front four reeded and tapered (43.75 x 72 x 26.25 in.); the associated upper cabinet in two parts, yellow pine and poplar secondary, the pronounced cornice with arched center panel, two large doors with astragal molded mullions, shelved interior, reeded stiles, four legs with beehive ring turning (55.5 x 56.5 x 18 in.)

Sideboard: chip and loss to the front right corner edge; old but later glass pulls (two with break and loss); drawer runners and guides rebuilt; door facings with veneer buckling, especially to the right door; front right leg loose; rear left foot replaced, all other feet cut and tipped.

Upper cabinet: sun fading to the right side.
