Caswell County, North Carolina, circa 1840, mahogany veneer, deal, white pine and poplar secondary, three part form, the upper applied shelved open cabinet with distinctive pierced crest, two shelved with scrolled supports, upper teardrop finials, lower drop finials, black rectangular marble top, above a single ogee highly figured drawer above two hinged cabinet doors with raised stylized book-matched Gothic arch and highly figured veneers, shelved interior, four scrolled stiles, molded terminus edge, carved quarter fan, boldly scrolled front feet, straight rear foot.
