Antique Austrian Silver Mounted Carved Wood Pipe

Austrian or German, likely carved walnut, silver mounts with circa 1780-1830 hallmarks, the silver shank plate struck with maker's mark "IR" or "IK" within a rectangular reserve, with silver loth purity marks "12" and "13", deep tapering bowl and pierced cover carved with acanthus and flame motif, obverse carved with meandering floral motifs flanking a tied oval wreath, fitted with an upright natural wood stem having horn ferrule and tapering mouthpiece.

Good estate condition; some minor nicks and light scratches to wood; minor denting to silver mounts; the shank mortise with later paper fill.
