Watercolor and pencil on paper, includes Cart Going South on Church Street; South Hall, 1805 / Built to Accommodate the First Boarding Students; and Close-up of Brother's House; signed at the lower registers, retaining labels to verso, matted and framed below glass.

Frame dimensions of each are approximately 21 x 17 5/8 in.

Archibald Stuart re-created the historic structures and landscapes of Old Salem, Winston Salem, North Carolina from the 1950s to the 1980s. These helped to raise funds needed to restore and reconstruct a significant number of the buildings in the district.
