Nathan Solano was born in Utah and attended the University of Colorado. He was drafted to the Vietnam war as an infantry sergeant. Afterward, Nathan spent a number of years working in Colorado and Florida as a photographer, illustrator, and art director for advertising agencies. In 1987 he turned to painting full-time. His work has been featured in Southwest Art, Artists Magazine, Taos Magazine, Western Horseman Magazine, and Cowboys & Indians. Most recently Nathan's work was featured in the Western Art Collector Magazine.
