Circa 1820-30, yellow pine secondary, applied molded cornice, three upper arched side-by-side drawers over five graduated long drawers all with cock beading, ogee bracket foot base.

60 x 42 x 24 in.

A written notecard of provenance states that this piece can be traced back to the Abernathy family of Lincolnton, North Carolina, 1838.

Remnants of an old paper label to the top board; later pulls (in the original holes); drawer runners and guides rebuilt; missing five locks; some cock beading loss; upper central drawer with two patches; later ogee bracket feet; one bail handle missing; cigarette odor present.
