Claude Vallet studied in Paris and worked for several advertising companies before settling in the South of France in the 1950s. At the foot of the Provençal mountains, he devoted himself to painting the light and colors of the landscape.

Vallet exhibited regularly at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Champs-Élysées.
