Circa 1900, gilt bronze classical architectural case with corinthian columns and four beveled crystal panels, enamel dial with Arabic chapters and central ornate pierced scrollwork, 8-day brass works striking on a gong, marked "V.V / Patent 3626 / A.D / 1885" and numbered "1285/52", with mercury pendulum and key.
14 x 8 x 6 1/8 in.
