Each with frontispiece and captioned tissue guard, additional illustrations, and title page printed in red and black.

Extremities and spines rubbed (occasionally heavily), darkening at spines and edges, some volumes with chipping and tearing at spine ends, light scuffing and soiling, and joints with cracking starting; a few volumes with additional wear including one with detached upper board and several with backstrip peeling; interiors with mild toning, scattered light foxing, frequent hinge cracking and detached or loose endpaper, typical wear from use such as tears, chips, or small stains, and occasional offsetting.
