The Contemporary Art Collection of Francine & Benson Pilloff, Chapel Hill, North Carolina

With a vast biography from teaching around the world from 1980-2002 including Pratt Fine Arts Center / Pilchuck Glass School / Renwick Gallery, Smithsonian Institution / Penland School and others to over (50) solo and group exhibitions across the country; Lieberman has mastered a highly skilled technique of taking ground glass and pigments to hand paint his finely detailed portraits. After applying a layer of glass paint the glass is fired and some pigments are carefully removed to reveal the intended imagery, while other works require up to 20 firings to accomplish the depth of color desired by Lieberman.

Good condition.
