The Savage Model 24E-DL is a combination rifle/shotgun introduced in the early 1950s, designed for versatility and practicality. Known for its distinctive over/under configuration, the Model 24E-DL featured a .22 LR rifle barrel paired with a .410 shotgun barrel, making it an ideal choice for hunters who needed a multi-purpose firearm for small game and bird hunting. The "DL" designation refers to the deluxe version, which came with a walnut stock and checkered grip for added style and comfort.
Overall good estate condition, barrel has minor surface scratches, receiver has slight wear to engravings, stock has field marks from age and normal use, both bores are shiny, .22 bore has strong rifling.
