19th century, mixed woods, the larger in black paint with shaped arms, saddle seat, splayed turned legs (37.5 x 22 x 16 in.; seat heigh 18 in.); the smaller in red and black paint with shaped arms, saddle seat, faux bamboo turned splayed legs (34.5 x 23 x 16 in.; seat height 16 in.).
