Russell Waterfield was the grandson of legend Malachi Waterfield. Hie decoys had an oversized muscular look about them. In the 1920s, Russell Waterfield's business cards advertised oversized decoys for sale. He was true to his word. This particular decoy has a Townsend brand indicated the owner of the decoy when it was used at the Possum Point Club.
