This is an original 1920s French Art Deco poster designed for the three-part operetta, Betsy, and performed on the French stage. Featured in the poster is Betsy as the quintessential cowgirl from the American "Wild West," showing the international fascination with cowboy and cowgirl culture in the early twentieth century.
