18th century, two part form, oak and pine secondary, old but associated bookcase with inlaid cornice and frieze, two hinged astragal molded doors, louvered shelf interior, set on a bureau with applied waist molding, hinged lid with bread board ends having loper supports, interior with central prospect door and pull out casing revealing two hidden document drawers, flanked by pigeon holes and small drawers, the case with two over three graduated cock beaded drawers, shaped bracket foot base.

90 x 40.5 x 22.5 in.

Old but associated bookcase with old marring to right side of case; retains old wavy glass; slant lid with some lip repair; old but later hinges to slant lid; waist molding with some chips and repair; later pulls with drilled holes; feet are old and appear original; some insect damage.
