Artist Statement:
"I paint landscapes and seascapes using oil paint on stretched canvas. My paintings are responses to particular settings but they are not necessarily about those settings. They express feelings drawn from certain times and contexts. There are few realistic details in the paintings and no people or signs of people. I have made them mine in a certain way by putting them in paint on canvas. I try to share with the viewer the images of serenity I find in the natural world."
Several dents and a scratch to the canvas.
