WITH HIS LAST CORRECTIONS, ADDITIONS, AND IMPROVEMENTS; TOGETHER WITH ALL HIS NOTES, AS THEY WERE DELIVERED TO THE EDITOR A LITTLE BEFORE HIS DEATH: PRINTED VERBATIM FROM THE OCTAVO EDITION OF MR. WARBURTON. London: Printed for C. Bathurst, et al., 1770. Six volumes (complete). Paneled calf with gilt-stamped spine with raised bands and red and green labels, all edges speckled red. 12mo; [6], vi, [2], xxvi, 317, [1]; [4], 360; [4], 292; [6], 314; [12], xiii, [1], 361, [1]; [12], 366pp. All with ownership signature dated 1773. With engraved plates; each with a title page; general title page in vol. I only. (Boards with light shelf wear; interiors clean with expected toning, light scattered foxing, and pages with a rare stain, wormhole, area of grime, small chip or tear, or folded corner; a few larger tears including one in vol. V and vol. VI, and two leaves with large tears through the text in vol. III. A very good set.)

Four volumes (complete). Full calf with gilt-stamped spines with raised bands and red morocco labels, all edges red speckled. 8vo; xxxix, [1], 488; [2], 493, [1]; 533, [1]; 623, [1]pp. All with separate title page. (Boards with scuffing, light edge wear, and bumped corners; joints creased and most with cracking; spines lightly creased with chipping and small tears at head; interiors with expected toning, light scattered foxing, occasional spotting and hinge cracking, and rare small tear or worm hole, with pages overall very clean; vol. 1 front free endpaper glued at inner edge and the title page partially detached with cracking at gutter. Good overall condition.)
