Debbie Robbins began painting when she became an empty nester. She has fallen in love with varied mediums of artistic expression, including acrylic, the fast drying time allows her to experiment with layers and textures using various gel mediums in her work.

Debbie received her B.A. in Interior Design from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She is a former board member for Visual Art Exchange, a member of the Raleigh Fine Arts Society, and a board member for the UNC REX Cancer Center on the art committee. She has begun exhibiting her art in many venues, including 311 Gallery in downtown Raleigh.
