Late 18th century, (11) piece tea service featuring floral sprays with with pink and gilt Rococo diapered border, including a lidded teapot (6 1/8 in. including lid); covered sugar with double handles (5 1/2 in.); (2) double handled cups (2 7/8 in.); baluster form sugar (5 3/8 in.); spill bowl (2 1/4 in.); (3) round saucers (6 1/8 in. larger); and (2) round saucers with petal rim (5 7/8 in.). All unmarked.
Also included is an 18th century Chinese export Famille Rose serving bowl (10 1/2 in.).
From a Private Collection, Washington, D.C. Teapot with restoration to spout tip and finial; vertical crack and repair to one cup, the other cup with small rim chip; glaze chip and associated hairlines to creamer handle; hairlines and staining to interior of sugar body; sugar lid finial with small chips; petal saucer with crack and glued repair, the other with small rim chip; two round saucers with hairlines at rim.
