Late 18th century in the Louis XVI style, overhanging top with porringer corners above three drawers with brass hardware, raised on tall turned and tapered front legs with fluted stiles to the case; the top drawer retaining a hand-written label reading "F Léchenet / Ebéniste à Plombiéres près Dijon / fait toutes sortes de Meubles / A Juste Prix" (F. Lechenet / Cabinetmaker in Plombieres near Dijon / Makes all kinds of furniture / at a fair price).
