Early 19th century, the first of rectangular form with satinwood inlays, inlaid lozenge escutcheon, the interior retaining remnants of its original lining (4 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 4 1/2 in.); the larger of tapering sarcophagus form, featuring shell inlays, inlaid lozenge escutcheon, and light and dark inlaid border, opens to twin lidded and lined compartments, raised on brass lion paw and compressed ball feet (6 1/4 x 13 x 6 1/4 in.).

Good estate condition; some losses to interior lining; minor surface marks to veneers; a few small areas of loss to line inlays on larger form's lid.
