P. / 1799" to lower left, the blue-eyed sitter attired in white headscarf and open chemise with gray dress, seated in a period oval back chair against a monochromatic ground, presented in a restored ebonized cove molded frame with ormolu liner.

Miniature 2 3/4 in. diameter; frame 5 1/2 x 5 1/4 in.
