Circa 1930s, the penguins likely Karl Hagenauer for Werkstatte Hagenauer, marked Made in Austria to the brass terrace, both mounted upon a green onyx dish with oval well.

8 1/2 x 7 3/4 x 3 3/4 in.; penguins 2 1/4 in.

One penguin's base with mis-shaping and remounting; surface rubbing to metal; area of chipping to onyx edge.
