Della Roberts maintained a studio in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She studied under Pierre Durra, a student of Emile Bernard, and the engraver, Lambert. She received a degree in art from Randolph-Macon Woman's College, and later studied at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Her works have been exhibited throughout North Carolina and the Southeast, and at Hammer Galleries, New York, where she is represented.
