George III Diminutive Inlaid Oak Chest of Drawers

Circa 1800, oak and oak veneer, oak and pine secondary, top with canted corners and applied molded edge, four small upper drawers (the upper center with German hidden locking mechanism) over three graduated cock beaded drawers with banded line inlay, fluted canted corners, shaped bracket feet.

42.5 x 37 x 19 in.

Fair condition; top with shrinkage crack, surface stains and scratches; scattered veneer chips and patches; case sides with shrinkage cracks and horizontal cut line at center; rear right foot missing part of the facing.
