Madera's work included a range of waterfowl decoys such as black ducks, bluebills, and redheads. His decoys are known for their hollow-carved bodies, tack eyes, and unique features like humped backs and pinched breasts. He also favored thin necks, which added to the realism of his creations.
Original paint, some surface blemishes on the bottom and breast from having barnacles removed.
