Hand-painted, with birds, flowers, and insects, the tureen an oval form with asparagus-style handles flanked by roses (#1002), with oval underplate (#1101); both marked.

Tureen with cover DOA 11 X 15 in.; underplate 16 1/2 in.

The underplate with minor wear to gilt and some light scratches; the tureen with a firing hairline over one handle and a couple of flowers with fleabites at petal edges; good estate condition.
