Early 19th century, mahogany veneers, pine secondary, serpentine form with silver mount escutcheon, the interior lid with banded inlay, now open interior, flush bases.

12 3/4 x 8 3/4 x 7 1/2 in.

Some areas of veneer and trim loss; scattered veneer shrinkage cracks; one with crack to base panel; the other with crack to rear panel; lids sit slightly askew; some losses to lock latch with later modification.
